About

I'm Adam Sweet, and here I share my thoughts, experiences, and interests in a variety of fields. From technology, marketing, and generative AI to musicology, parenting, and sourcing missions to China, this blog is a space where I explore the intersections of my personal and professional life.

A Bit About Me:

I’ve been involved in music for most of my life, starting with violin lessons in the 1960s, and I later expanded to mandolin and other stringed instruments. In 1985, I graduated from Hampshire College, where I studied a range of subjects within the Five College Consortium, including music, psychology, and film. Over the years, I’ve built a diverse career that spans teaching, business management, sales, and technology.

I founded Sweet Music in 1986, offering private lessons, group classes, and instrument rentals, and I've been selling luthier supplies like bow hair, tonewood, and accessories since 1999. My passion for sourcing quality materials has taken me on numerous trips to China, where I’ve developed strong relationships with suppliers.

In 1998, I also established Sweet Consultants, a web design and marketing firm, and have continued to expand my expertise in digital marketing, AI tools, and consulting for small businesses. In recent years, I’ve focused on how AI can revolutionize marketing strategies for small businesses like mine.
