Adam Reviews the Hora Mandolin

Periodically, I will review other instruments than the ones I teach.  Today I reviewed the Hora mandolin.

This Hora Mandolin made in Romania. This is a cute Portuguese style Mandolin with a slightly curved back (although not like a 'potato-bug' Mandolin). Solid Spruce top, dark stained wood back and ribs, White binding, inlaid walnut rosette design, 33.2 cm scale, chrome tuners with perloid buttons, and a natural gloss finish. This is a European made instrument - looks new and unfortunately sounds pretty bad.
